Biography

Reckless Love is a Finnish rock ensemble formed in Kuopio in 2001. The group initially performed covers of Guns N' Roses under the name Reckless Life before writing original music. The band won the Kuopio Band Competition in 2004. In 2009, the group signed with Universal Music and released the single "One More Time", which reached number 2 on the YleX chart. A self-titled debut studio album appeared in 2010 and reached number 13 on the Finnish chart. Subsequent studio recordings included Animal Attraction (2011), Spirit (2013), and InVader (2016), the latter reaching number 8. These albums featured the singles "Night on Fire", "So Happy I Could Die", and "Monster", with the latter appearing in the television series Peacemaker. In 2022, the group released the synthwave-influenced album Turborider. The ensemble began a hiatus in 2024 following the departure of Hessu Maxx.
