Arttu Suuntala, born Uuno Artturi Flinkhammar on February 18, 1920, in Luumäki, Finland, was a singer and actor. He began his music career in the 1960s with recordings for Triola, Finnlevy, and PSO labels. Suuntala's notable songs include "Ievan Polokka / Tanssit Tallin Vintillä" (1966) and "Tanssikaa Jenkkaa Ja Polkkaa" (1960). He released several albums, including Ilta Arttu Suuntalan seurassa (1970). Suuntala also acted in over fifty films, with notable roles in Majuri maantieltä (1954) and Vodkaa, komisario Palmu (1969). He received a state artist pension in 1985 and the Silver Medal of Merit from the Finnish Defense Forces in 1988. Suuntala passed away on December 10, 1999, in Turku, Finland.
