Biography
Andy & Kouros were an Iranian pop duo formed in Los Angeles. Composed of Andranik "Andy" Madadian and Kouros Shahmiri, Andy & Kouros released their first album Khastegary in 1985. Following this debut, they achieved success with subsequent albums including Parvaz (1987), the popular Bala in 1990, and their final release Goodbye in 1991. Throughout their career, Andy & Kouros frequently performed alongside notable artists such as Shahram Shabpareh, Dariush Eghbali, and Toofan. The duo split in 1991; however, they continued to appear together occasionally on specific projects and tours including performances in San Jose, California (2002 & 2004), an international tour in the Iranian diaspora (2009), and again in May 2010.
