Hong Yoontae, known professionally as Anandelight, was born on 28 April 1999 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, and emerged as a Korean rapper. After honing his craft in local underground scenes, he released his debut single "Mom, Dad" in January 2019, followed by "Bonne nuit" in March, establishing his presence on the domestic rap circuit. Anandelightâs first full-length project, GOD'S DREAM, was issued on 15 April 2019 and received favorable reviews for its lyrical depth and production quality. In 2021, he expanded his repertoire with singles such as "Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!", "Ready", "Mighty Freestyle", and "Favorite", showcasing versatility across hipâhop subgenres. The 2022 EP Snap Shot was released on 31 May, featuring tracks like "TOO BAD" and "COCKY", and was accompanied by a promotional tour that solidified his fanbase. Anandelight participated in the televised rap competition Show Me the Money 10 in 2021, reaching the Top 8, and later competed in Rap Cup in 2024, achieving 33rd place on the Top 100 rankings. The track "I'M FREE" on his second full album GOD'S TIME, released in March 2026, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 28 the next day.
