Amor Ines Vittone, known professionally as Amor Vittone, and born on March 16, 1972, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a singer who excelled academically during her high school years, completing an Honours degree in Communication at the Rand Afrikaans University. Vittone's music career began with the release of her debut album Wild Cherry Kisses in 1999 through EMI, followed by Dance in Colours (2000) and Young Forever (2002). In 2005, she released her fourth album, Amor, under Gallo Music Record Company. Her first Afrikaans album, Voluit, was released in 2006 by Select Music and achieved gold status within six months. The video for "Voluit Lewe" notably received Best Afrikaans DVD at the Afrikaans Music Awards in 2007.
