Biography
Alpha Boy School was a ska band from Bochum, Germany, founded in 1999 by Karsten Riedel. They gained initial recognition with their debut album Big Fight (2002). The band's music featured elements of ska, 2-tone, and reggae with English lyrics. Following the release of albums such as Alpha Boy School (2005), One in a Million (2006), Believe in Yourself (2007), and Perfect Situation (2008), Alpha Boy School performed extensively across Europe, including tours in Hungary, Poland, and Japan. After Riedel's departure in late 2008, Joe Scholes of the Braces took over as frontman, and the band continued to perform under the name Alpha Boys feat. Joe Scholes until their dissolution in February 2010.
