Ali & Gipp, an American hip-hop group, was formed in 2005 and consisted of Ali Jones, a rapper from St. Louis, Missouri, and Cameron "Big Gipp" Gipp, a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. The duo gained initial recognition through their feature on Nelly's 2005 single "Grillz" alongside Paul Wall. Their first official project was the 2006 single "Go 'Head", which led to the formation of Ali & Gipp as an official musical group. In 2007, they released their debut album Kinfolk under Derrty Entertainment. The album featured collaborations with notable artists such as David Banner and Three 6 Mafia, reaching number 25 on the R&B Albums chart and number 174 on the Billboard 200. Other notable singles from Ali & Gipp include "Hard in Da Paint" (2006) featuring Nelly and "Almost Made Ya" (2007) featuring LeToya. The group disbanded in 2007.
