Biography

Alejandro Parreño Gausí, known professionally as Alejandro Parreño, was born on January 10, 1978, in Valencia, Spain, and is a singer-songwriter. He grew up in a musically inclined household and began his music career by participating in the first edition of Operación Triunfo in 2001-2002. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album, Perdido en el Paraíso, on April 29, 2002, which earned a platinum certification and featured the hit single "Ellas", reaching Number 1 on Los 40 Principales. In May 2003, he released his second album, Me río, which included collaborations with Chenoa and Beth. Parreño later formed the band Nómada in 2006, releasing their self-titled debut album under Warner Music Spain. As a composer, he contributed to various artists, including Angy Fernández and Fran Dieli. In 2018, Parreño signed with Alias Music and released several singles, including "El mundo que no conocí" (2019) and "Infinito" (2019).
