Biography
Alamid is a Filipino rock band from Manila. In 1993, the band signed to Warner Music Philippines and released their self-titled debut album, Alamid (1994). Their breakthrough came with the hit single "Your Love", which was named Song of the Year at the NU Rock Awards in 1994. The band opened for Mr. Big in 1994 and released the successful albums Panaginip (1995) and Radio Friendly (1997). Notable songs include "Just Wasn't Brave Enough" and "Still Believe in Love". Former frontman Gary Ignacio died due to multiple organ failure in 2015. Alamid continues to perform live both in the Philippines and abroad.
