Biography
Adriatique are a Swiss electronic music duo from Zürich, made up of DJs and producers Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. The pair met in 2008 and began working as Adriatique in 2009, first building their name through deep house and techno releases on labels such as Diynamic, Cityfox, Culprit, and Wolf + Lamb. Early tracks including âDeep in the Three,â âRoads,â âCatch the Light,â and âSpace Knightsâ placed them within the European club circuit, while their close links with Solomunâs Diynamic helped expand their international profile. In 2016, they founded Siamese, their own label and creative platform, then recorded a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2017. Adriatique released their debut studio album, Nude, through Afterlife in 2018, bringing their melodic techno, downtempo electronics, and atmospheric club sound into a full-length format. They followed in 2019 with X, a three-track EP on Siamese, before collaborating with Marino Canal and Delhia de France on âHomeâ in 2020. In 2022, the duo remixed RÃFÃS DU SOL and Swedish House Mafia with The Weeknd, then launched their immersive X event concept, which expanded through international editions and major audiovisual shows. Adriatique continued with releases including âMiracleâ with WhoMadeWho, âLike a Dreamâ with Rivo, âGive It to Me 2025,â âNever Aloneâ with Yubik and Vincent Vossen, and âLost In The Woodsâ with Elderbrook in 2026.
