Biography

Jerome Isma-Ae, born Jerome Faulhaber in Munich, Germany, is a DJ, producer, and electronic music artist renowned for his work in progressive house, trance, and techno. He began his music career at the age of 18 with his debut release on Delirium Records and later co-founded the house project Future Funk with Marcel Krieg. He gained international recognition in 2003 with his trance-influenced remix of Nightcrawlers’ “Push the Feeling On”, which achieved commercial success, particularly in the United States. Over the years, Isma-Ae has released numerous singles and remixes, including notable tracks like “Underwater Love” (2009), which won Best Chill Out Track at the Beatport Music Awards, and “Timelapse”, a collaboration with Alastor. His productions are characterized by evolving basslines, layered percussion, and atmospheric synths that blend progressive house, trance, and techno influences. Jerome Isma-Ae has performed in over 300 cities across roughly 80 countries, appearing at major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and A State of Trance, earning a reputation for dynamic live sets and meticulous mixing. He is also known for tracks such as "Kubrick" (2017), "Baharat" (2021), and "Hold That Sucker Down" (2010), remixed by Charlotte De Witte and covered in 2025 by Gabry Ponte.
