Biography

Charlotte de Witte, born Charlotte De Witte on July 21, 1992, in Ghent, Belgium, is a DJ, record producer and label owner known for her contributions to electronic music. She began her career in 2010 under the pseudonym Raving George, gaining local recognition before transitioning to her real name by 2015. De Witte's early releases included the EP Observe (2013) and singles like "You’re Mine" (2015). Her breakthrough came with the release of Weltschmerz under her real name, marking a significant shift in her career. In 2017, she performed at numerous festivals including Tomorrowland and Awakenings, and was featured on the cover of DJ Mag. De Witte founded the label KNTXT and has since released notable EPs such as The Healer (2018), Return to Nowhere EP (2020), Universal Consciousness EP (2022) and Roar (2024). In 2025, she released the singles "The Realm" and "No Division", followed by her debut album Charlotte De Witte, featuring Lisa Gerrard on "After the Fall".
