Biography

Thanh HÃ , born HÃ TrÆ°Æ¡ng in ÄÃ Náºµng, South Vietnam in, 1969, is a Vietnamese American singer. As a child, she sang on ÄÃ Náºµng radio and later moved to Saigon after graduating from high school. In 1991, Thanh HÃ escaped to a boat people refugee camp in the Philippines, where she first performed in front of an audience during a beauty contest. She won $150 for her performance, marking a significant breakthrough in her music career. Thanh HÃ released her debut album Æ¯á»c háº¹n in 1995, followed by several other albums including Cho rÆ¡i nhá»¯ng bá»¥i tÃ¬nh, Lá» hoang, and Cuá»c tÃ¬nh lá»¡. Her notable collaborations include duets with Tuáº¥n Ngá»c on the CD TÃ¬nh yÃªu - duets with Tuáº¥n Ngá»c. In 2016, she released her album ChÃ¬a khÃ³a tÃ¬nh yÃªu, and in 2022, married singer and music producer PhÆ°Æ¡ng UyÃªn in California.
