Biography

21 Guns was an American hard rock band, was formed in Los Angeles, United States of America in 1990 by Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham, bassist Leif Johanson, and drummer Mike Sturgis, who had previously worked with Tom Galleys and Wilfried Rimensberger's Phenomena. The band initially featured singer Tommy La Verdi, formerly of A440, known for songs like "Method to My Madness" and "Flair for the Dramatic". 21 Guns released their debut album Salute in 1992 under BMG Music, which included singles such as "Knee Deep", "Little Sister", and "These Eyes". For their second album, Nothing's Real, released in 1997 by Victor Entertainment, La Verdi was replaced by former Sons-of-Angels singer Hans-Olav Solli. The band disbanded in 2000. A post-breakup release, Demo-Lition, was issued in 2002 via Z Records.
