Biography

Robert Bartleh Cummings, better known as Rob Zombie, was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on January 12, 1965. Founder of the band White Zombie in 1985, he began his solo career in 1998 with the heavyweight Hellbilly Deluxe. The album is a horrific metal must-have, with tracks of the calibre of "Dragula" . Its commercial success is totally logical. 1999's American Made Music to Strip By featured remixes of the previous album, while 2001's The Sinister Urge was another success. Past, Present & Future in 2003 cleverly brings together the best of White Zombie and its solo leader. Educated Horses in 2006 falls slightly short of its predecessors. Rob Zombie, who has been pursuing a brilliant career as a horror film director and screenwriter since 2003, decided to release Hellbilly Deluxe 2 in 2010 to enslave fans once again. His successor comes in 2013. Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor is the first to feature Ginger Fish as drummer, recreating the duo he formed with John 5 in the Marilyn Manson era. The two men are also on board for the sixth album, The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser (2016). After The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy in 2021, Rob Zombie returns in 2026 with The Great Satan.
