Yutaka Yokokura is a Japanese pianist, keyboardist, and koto musician born on 26 June 1956 in Tokyo. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began with the ensemble NOVO (1970). Yokokura's recording career began with the debut studio recording Love Light (1978). He achieved professional recognition for signing with the label GRP Records and releasing the studio recording Yutaka (1988) which reached number 4 on the Radio & Records jazz fusion chart. His discography included the studio recording Brazasia (1990) and the studio recording Another Sun (1993). Yokokura achieved professional recognition for establishing Visual Rhythm Recording Studio in Alhambra, California. He achieved professional recognition for the track "Evening Star" (1978) being sampled in the track "Fool's Gold" (2015) by the musician Jill Scott.
