Young & Rollins is an American guitar duo consisting of Daniel Young and Lawson Rollins, who began collaborating after meeting in Washington, D.C., in 1998. Drawing on salsa, Latin jazz, blues, samba, bossa nova, flamenco, and classical music, the pair developed a style blending nuevo flamenco, world music, and Latin influences. Their debut album, Salsa Flamenca (2000), entered the Billboard Top 25 New Age chart, followed by Sevilla (2001), Esperanza (2005), and Mosaic (2006). A televised concert featuring music from Salsa Flamenca was broadcast nationally in 2001 and 2005. The duo's recordings have appeared on several compilation albums, and the Young & Rollins Quintet has performed internationally at venues and festivals including the Sydney Opera House, the Kennedy Center, the Perth International Arts Festival, and the New Zealand International Arts Festival.
