Biography

José Luis Encinas, born in 1966 in Palencia, Spain, is a guitarist. He began playing the guitar at age 13. In 1997, he released his debut album Duende, which became a gold record in Spain and was published in the United States by Narada Records, selling over 100,000 copies. Encinas' work has been featured on various compilations, including Gypsy Soul New Flamenco (1998), released by Narada Records. Encinas followed up with several albums, including Aurora (1999), Remolino (2000), Guitarra Romantica (2001), and the single "Travesura" in 2003. His work has also been featured on Global Transmissions (2000), released by Narada Records.
