YOBAI SUSPECTS is a Japanese music collective that freely crosses black music, rock, and pop, formed in 2019 by vocalist and guitarist Akyk and producer R.S. Caves. The Tokyo-based artists bring their skills to create soulful music, and in 2022 they released a 7-inch analog vinyl featuring Yosuke Nakano and WONK that created quite a buzz among early listeners. In 2024, Akyk released his first full-length album "YOBAI SUSPECTS," which is a condensed version of the progress he has made since his formation. Akyk's overwhelming singing spirit and strong voice continue to inspire many creators. On April 22, 2026, they released their latest single , "Pitch-black Night / Ikareta Baby". This song encompasses the loneliness and sentimentalism of an urban night with an exquisite groove.
