Michihiro Kuroda (é»ç°å«å¼), born 6â¯Juneâ¯1972 in Japan, began his career as the lead vocalist of the Jârock band Iceman in the late 1990s before launching a solo career in 2000. His debut single "ã¹ãªã«ãã«ã³ã¹" (2000â10â18) introduced him to the mainstream, and the following year the single "Save Our Soul" helped establish his presence in the Japanese rock scene. Kurodaâs first studio album, Barefoot (2001), was followed by a series of releases-Future In Blue (2003), SEED (2004), In Depth (2005â), and unchanged (2006)-each accompanied by live recordings that captured his energetic performances. In 2006 he reunited with former Iceman guitarist Kenichiâ¯Ito to form the rock group Scarecrow, releasing the single "Steal Your Misery" and two albums over the next few years. His collaboration with artists such as Tokikoâ¯Kato and Naotoâ¯Kine expanded his stylistic range, while his participation in the Stand Up Japan volunteer event after the 2011 TÅhoku earthquake highlighted his social engagement. Kuroda continued to release albums annually through 2012, with Grumpy Diamonds appearing shortly after.
