Alazán, a Spanish flamenco pop group, was formed in 2000 by Aroa, Sara, and Encarni Salazar. The trio hails from Madrid, with Sara born on April 15, 1971, and Encarni on December 22, 1978. Their debut album Alcanzarás la luna (2000) won the Festival de Benidorm 2000 with the title track "Alcanzarás La Luna" produced by José Antonio Granados. The album achieved significant success, selling over 80,000 copies and earning a gold certification. Notable singles from this period include "Torero" and "Luna De Granada". Their second album Reinas de Corazones (2001) featured the hit single "Los Latidos Del Corazón", which also achieved gold status. Aroa left the group after this release, and in November 2002, Alazán released their third album Gipsy Woman. The duo embarked on international tours to Romania and Bulgaria, achieving Top 10 hits with songs like "Gipsy Woman" and "Vous Voulez Dancer". Subsequent releases include the albums Tira p'alante (2004), Digan lo que digan (2008), and the compilation Si no te tengo (Y grandes éxitos) (2014), as well as the singles "Suplicando" (2020), "La Luna" (2021) with Amor Romeira, "Alió" (2022), "Ya Estamos AquÃ" (2024), "Tápame" (2025).
