Biography
The singer Ãlvaro Tauchert Soler, who is known to the public as Ãlvaro Soler, was born in Spain on January 9, 1991. After living with his family in Tokyo and Barcelona for a while, the son of a German moved to Berlin in 2015. In the same year, he released his first single "El Mismo Sol", which went gold in Germany and Austria and even made it to number 1 in the charts in Switzerland and Italy. In addition to the original version, there was also a remix with superstar Jennifer Lopez, which also brought him success in North America. His debut album Eterno Agosto (2015) also went to number one in Italy and Switzerland. A year later, the single "Sofia" was released, which was honored with platinum awards throughout Europe. The cheerful love song even made it to the top of the charts in Belgium, Italy, Poland and Switzerland. His second album Mar de Colores (2018) placed in the top 10 in German-speaking countries, while the most successful single "La Cintura" sold over a million copies in total and also went platinum in Germany and Austria. After releasing the song "Barrer a Casa" with his then girlfriend Sofia Ellar in 2020, he released his third album Magia in 2021, which reached the top 5 in the DACH region. After a short break, Ãlvaro Soler returned in October 2025 with the studio album El Camino. The album reached number 18 in Germany.
