Biography
Witchery is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Linköping in 1997 by former members of Satanic Slaughter. The group initially consisted of guitarists Patrik Jensen and Richard Corpse, bassist Sharlee D'Angelo, drummer Mique, and vocalist Toxine. Their debut album, Restless & Dead, was released in 1998 under Necropolis Records. After signing a worldwide deal with Century Media Records, they released Don't Fear the Reaper (2006). Notable collaborations include Andy LaRocque, Kerry King, Hank Shermann, and Jim Durkin, who all contributed to the album Witchkrieg, which was released on June 21, 2010, in Europe. The band's subsequent releases include In His Infernal Majesty's Service (2016), I Am Legion (2017), and Nightside (2022).
