Willemijn Verkaik, born 16 June 1975 in Son en Breugel, Netherlands, is a Dutch singer‑actor who has performed in multiple languages. After studying at the Rotterdam Conservatory and briefly at Guildford, she entered the musical theatre scene with ensemble work in the Dutch production of Elisabeth and later gained recognition for her role as Elphaba in Wicked, which she performed over 2 000 times across German, Dutch, and English productions, becoming the only performer to portray the character in three languages.
