Biography
Weak Aside, a death metal band from Emden, Lower Saxony, Germany, was founded in 2006 by guitarist and singer Tom Zorn. Initially known as Spearhead, the group changed its name to Weak Aside in 2007 and released their first recording, Fire at Will, in 2007. The band's next album, Ghostleader, was recorded and released in 2010 under Remission Records. Following lineup changes, Weak Aside continued with new members Marc Dieken on drums, Alex Pahl on bass, and Luke Kerk on guitar. Their third album, The Next Offensive, was released in 2015 via FDA Rekotz. The album focused on the horrors of war and drew comparisons to bands like Bolt Thrower. In 2018, Weak Aside released their fourth album, Forward Into Darkness.
