Biography

Vizinhos, also known as Os Vizinhos, is a Portuguese band formed in 2025 by David MendonÃ§a, Miguel Brites, Francisco and TomÃ¡s Cartaxo. Originally from the town of Ãvora, the four members of Grupo Academico Seistetos decided to form their own group, whose music is inspired by the traditional folklore of the Alentejo region. Based on a song composed by JoÃ£o Direitinho and JoÃ£o Barbosa, "PÃ´r do Sol" proved a success on digital platforms, reaching number 19 in the Portuguese singles chart.
