Biography

A precociously gifted singer born in 1977, Vittorio Grigolo began his career as a child, becoming soloist with the Sistine Chapel Choir in Rome. In his teens, the man nicknamed the "little Pavarotti" for having rivaled the master tenor, joined the Vienna Opera and then La Scala in Milan. A versatile tenor, Vittorio Grigolo is equally at home in opera, musicals(West Side Story) and pop, with his second solo album, The Italian Tenor, released in 2010. Prolific on stage and on record, he recorded the recitals Arrivederci (2011) and Ave Maria (2013). In 2014, The Romantic Hero is devoted to the French operatic repertoire.
