Virginia Ernst, born January 14, 1991 in Vienna, Austria, is a singer-songwriter and ice hockey player. After returning from Sweden, she taught herself guitar and released early singles "Let It Shine" (2012) and "Rockin'" (2014), the latter charting in Austria for seven weeks. In 2014, Ernst was the most played artist on Austrian radio and received a nomination for Artist of the Year at the Austrian Music Award Amadeus. Ernst's collaboration with Universal Music Publishing Berlin led to the release of "No I Ainât" (September 2016). She released her debut album One in March 2017. Throughout her career, Ernst has continued to release singles including "Fly Up High" (2021) and "Dance Alone" (2022).
