Biography

U.S. Bombs was an American punk rock and street punk band formed in 1993 in Orange County, California. Founded by vocalist Duane Peters and guitarist Kerry Martinez, the group released its debut double 7", Scouts of America, in 1994. Before forming the ensemble, Peters became known as a professional skateboarder, nicknamed “The Master of Disaster”. The band released its first studio album, Put Strength in the Final Blow, in 1994. Following lineup changes, the ensemble signed with Alive Records and released Garibaldi Guard! in 1996. The group became the first act signed to Hellcat Records, releasing the albums War Birth (1997) and The World (1999). In 2001, the band released the album Back at the Laundromat and performed at the Holidays in the Sun concert. Subsequent studio recordings included Covert Action (2003) and We are the Problem (2006). Peters officially announced the disbandment of the group in 2015.
