Biography
Undertow, a German groove metal band from Heidenheim, was formed in 1993 with the aim of actively creating music and engaging with the scene. The group released their debut album Slope in 1995. Subzero Records then took notice of the band and in 1999, they released HarmOnE under the label. The band's lineup changes included the departure of Drummer Christoph Eberhard, who was replaced by Oliver Rieger. Undertow continued to release albums such as UnitE (2002) and 34CE (2003), both under Silverdust Records. In 2006, they released Milgram, followed by Don't Pray to the Ashes in 2010. The band has performed over 250 live shows and toured extensively with acts like Crowbar and Pro-Pain. Subsequent albums include In Deepest Silence (2014) and Reap the Storm (2018).
