Formerly known as Tupper Ware Remix Party, TWRP an electronic / alternative band formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 2007. Known for their sci-fi aesthetic and members who perform in full costume with hidden identities, the band concocted a fictional backstory to emphasize their futuristic approach to music. Portraying intergalactic rock stars on a mission to spread fun and eliminate boredom across the universe, the groupâs original line-up consisted of Doctor Sung (vocals, keytar, synthesizers), Havve Hogan (drums). Stone LaChismo (bass), and Bombustron (guitar, vocals). Moving to Toronto, the group built a loyal following and released their first EP, Sex Is a Machine That Likes to Dance (2007), which was followed by their debut album, Poised to Dominate, in 2010. They released three more EPs â The Device (2012), 2Nite (2015), and Believe in Your Dreams (2015) â before they became busy serving as the backing band for American comedy duo Ninja Sex Party, who also recorded under the name Starbomb. By the time TWRP returned with their 2018 album Together Through Time, Stone LaChismo and Bombustron had left the band and were replaced by bassist Commander Meouch and guitarist Lord Phobos. While continuing to work with Ninja Sex Party, TWRP returned with the albums Return to Wherever (2019), Over the Top (2020), New & Improved (2021), Digital Nightmare (2024), and The Longest Weekend (2025).
