In 2012, he attracted greater attention when the hip-hop group Die Orsons used a guitar sample from his song "Little Funny Man"; this led to further collaborations, including with Maeckes. The Fisch EP follows in 2015; the album Am Rest is released in 2021. 2023 Tristan Brusch releases the album Am Wahn and the theater music collection Woyzeck. In October 2025, the album Am Anfang is released with the advance single "Grundsolider Schläger". The artist's repertoire includes chanson, pop and elements of neo-hit and variety pop. He works with producers such as Tim Tautorat and collaborates with rap and indie artists.
