Anthony James Lucca, born January 23, 1976 in Pontiac, Michigan, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and dancer who began performing at age three. After a brief stint on The All New Mickey Mouse Club and a short acting career in Losâ¯Angeles, he released his selfâproduced debut So Satisfied in 1997, followed by Strong Words, Softly Spoken the same year. In 2004 he issued Shotgun, which was distributed by Lightyear and Newâ¯Vibe Records and coâproduced by NSYNC member JCâ¯Chasez, after which he toured with NSYNC in 2001â2002. The midâ2000s saw the releases of Canyon Songs (2006), Live in Hollywood (2006), Come Around Again (2008), and the collaborative EP TFDI with Jay Nash and Matt Duke (2009). In 2010 he released Rendezvous with the Angels and later that year appeared in a Parenthood episode. After placing third on The Voice in 2012, he signed to Adam Levineâs 222â¯Records and issued the EP With the Whole World Watching (2013). He left the label in 2013, moved to Nashville, and released the independently distributed album Ainât No Storm in 2019, which received critical acclaim for its songwriting and production.
