Biography

Tony Feliciano Rivera (May 31, 1982), aka Tony Dize, is an American reggaeton and Latin pop artist of Puerto Rican descent. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he relocated to Puerto Rico with his family at a time in which reggaeton was in full bloom with artists such as Vico C, Tego Calderón, Wisin y Yandel, and Ivy Queen. After studying criminology at Ponce’s Catholic University, Tony Dize made his official debut on the compilation Blin Blin Vol. 1 (2003) with the track “No Pierdas Tiempo” featuring Wisin y Yandel. His big breakthrough arrived in 2007 when he made a guest appearance on the duo’s “Quizás,” landing a recording contract with their label WY Records. La Melodía de la Calle, his studio debut, came out in 2008 and included the singles “Bailando,” “Permítame,” “Entre los Dos,” and “Pa’ Darle.” Following his departure from WY Records, Tony Dize returned in full force with La Melodía de la Calle: Updated (2009), whose lead single “El Doctorado” reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart and spawned a remix featuring Don Omar and Ken-Y. In the subsequent years, the Latin artist released the star-studded La Melodía de la Calle: 3rd Season (2015), featuring cameos by Don Omar, Arcángel, and Nicky Jam, and created his own label Tony Dize in 2018.
