Time Zone is an American rap ensemble established by the musician Afrika Bambaataa in 1983. The group achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by electro-funk and breakbeat influences. Their recording career began with the debut track âWildstyleâ (1983). They achieved professional recognition for the track âWorld Destructionâ (1984) featuring the singer John Lydon. Their discography includes the tracks âZulu War Chantâ (1993) and âWhat's the Name of this Nation?... Zuluâ (1993).
