Singer/songwriter Thomas Stenström was born Karl Thomas Stenström in Uddevalla, Sweden on January 19, 1988. He is known for his knack for writing catchy, anthemic pop songs that manage to sound epic and vulnerable at the same time. Born and raised in Uddevalla, Thomas Stenström received the Ted Gärdestad scholarship in 2010, after which he released NÃ¥t annat, nÃ¥n annanstans (2012), his studio debut. Preceded by the singles âDetsamma,â âKrossade drömmar,â and âFull av liv,â the album marked the beginning of his promising music career. Propelled by the success of the single âSlÃ¥ mig hÃ¥rt i ansiktet,â Fulkultur (2014), his sophomore effort, helped him break into the mainstream, peaking at Number 6 on Swedenâs Sverigetopplistan and quickly achieving gold status. Following a nomination for the prestigious P3 Guld awards and performances at some of the countryâs most famous festivals, Thomas Stenström came back with Rör inte min kompis! (2017), which reached Number 26 on the Swedish charts. By the time Dreamer (2019) came out, Stenströn had already become one of the most beloved pop artists in his native Sweden, playing to packed audiences throughout the country and reaching widespread recognition with the singles âRöda Himlarâ and âVästerbronâ. In 2021, Thomas Stenström released Number 2-charting album Spring Baby Spring which featured the hit singles "Det är nog aldrig för sent för oss tvÃ¥", "Nätterna", âHej hallÃ¥!" and "Hotel Amigo" (featuring First Aid Kit).
