Thomas Gandey, born on March 21, 1979, in Brighton, England, is a British electronic music producer and DJ. He began playing piano at age four and later took up the organ. Gandey's breakthrough came when he discovered electronic music while working as a sound engineer at festivals. In 2005, under the pseudonym Cagedbaby, he released his debut album Will See You Now, which received a 4-star review from the Guardian. He signed to Fatboy Slimâs Southern Fried Records and became a tour DJ for acts including the Chemical Brothers and Underworld. Gandey's work under his own name began in 2010 with releases on labels like Southern Fried Records and Get Physical Music. He also notably worked as a writer and producer for the musical Here Lies Love.
