Theresa Andersson, born on September 11, 1971, in Gotland, Sweden, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began her musical journey by moving to New Orleans in 1990 to play violin with fellow Swedish musician Anders Osborne. Andersson performed and recorded with notable New Orleans musicians such as Allen Toussaint, The Neville Brothers, The Meters, and Betty Harris. Her debut album, Vibes, was released in 1994, followed by No Regrets in 2002 and Shine in 2004. In 2007, Andersson participated in Goin' Home: A Tribute to Fats Domino, performing "When The Saints Go Marching In" with The Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Andersson's unique one-woman show, inspired by a puppet show she saw in Chicago, features her playing multiple instruments live with loop pedals. Her do-it-yourself video for "Na Na Na" gained over 1.2 million views on YouTube.
