The Werks, an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2005 when Dave Bartoletti, Rob Chafin, Chris Houser, and Chuck Love met at a local music contest. The band's name was derived from their first meal together, ordering "The Works" from a local restaurant. They officially started performing in 2007 after releasing their debut release "Dig It" on May 1st of that year. In 2009, they released their album Synapse. The band gained prominence in June 2011 when they hit number 2 on the top searched artists list on jambase.com and again in early 2012 when they reached Number 1. Throughout their career, The Werks have released several albums including The Werks (2012), Inside a Dream (2015), and Magic (2017). They are also known for their annual Werk Out Music and Arts Festival,
