Turkuaz, an American funk band, formed in 2008 out of Boston's Berklee College of Music scene. They released their debut demo, Dollar Store, while members were still students. After relocating to New York City, Turkuaz released their self-titled debut album and Zerbert in 2011. Their concept album Digitonium followed in 2015. The band performed three shows with Denny Laine of Paul McCartney and Wings in 2018 and released Life in the City the same year. In 2020, they released their first live concert film, Noneâs a Ton, along with an audio soundtrack. Turkuaz disbanded in November 2021 when seven members left to pursue other projects. Following the band's dissolution, founding members Dave Brandwein and Taylor Shell released two final studio albums, Paradiso and Apollyon, in September 2022.
