Biography

The Warren Brothers is an American country music duo formed in 1998 in Tampa, Florida. The ensemble consisted of brothers Brett Warren and Brad Warren, who previously performed in the Christian heavy metal group St. Warren. The duo relocated to Nashville in 1995 and signed with BNA Records in 1997. The ensemble released its debut studio recording, Beautiful Day in the Cold Cruel World, in 1998, which featured the tracks âGuiltyâ, âBetter Manâ, and âShe Wants to Rockâ. The band followed with the album King of Nothing (2000), which included the single âMove Onâ that reached number 17 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The duo starred in the reality series Barely Famous: The Warren Brothers in 2005 and served as judges on Nashville Star. As songwriters, the brothers co-wrote âFeel That Fireâ for Dierks Bentley, which reached Number 1, and the track âIf You're Reading Thisâ for Tim McGraw. The duo won a Daytime Emmy in 2013.
