The Goldens were an American country music duo from Brewton, Alabama, composed of Rusty and Chris Golden. The sons of Oak Ridge Boys member William Lee Golden, both brothers had prior musical experience before forming The Goldens. Their self-titled debut album, released by Epic Records in 1987, featured the charting singles "Put Us Together Again" and "Sorry Girls." In 1990, they moved to Capitol / SBK Records for their second album, Rush for Gold, which produced three charting singles: "Take Me Back To The Country," "Keep the Faith," and "Long Gone." After disbanding, Rusty released solo albums while Chris joined The Oak Ridge Boys from 1996 to 2014. During the pandemic, the brothers reunited with their father as William Lee Golden & The Goldens, releasing three albums and touring annually starting in 2022. Rusty Golden died in 2024 at the age of 65.
