The Space Brothers, a British trance music duo comprising Richard 'Ricky' Louis Simmonds and Stephen Christopher Jones, originated in the United Kingdom. Their debut production "Stay with Me" (released as Ultra High) reached Number 36 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1995. The following year, their release "I Am" (as Chakra) peaked at Number 24 on the UK Singles Chart in January 1997. The duo signed to Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto imprint for the release of "Someone" by Ascension and WEA for their Chakra material, but elected to make Manifesto Records their home. Their first Space Brothers single "Shine" appeared on the UK chart, having celebrated by Pete Tong. In July 1999, they released "Legacy (Show Me Love)", featuring vocals by Kate Cameron and a remix by Matt Darey, reaching Number 32 on the UK chart. The following month, their debut album Shine was released, complemented by a remix disc mixed by Paul Oakenfold. In October 1999, the second single from the album "Heaven Will Come" was released, featuring mixes by Lange and Olmec Heads. Following the commercial success of these releases, The Space Brothers decided to take a hiatus in 2001. They returned briefly with the Push-remixed "Everywhere I Go". In late 2002, a new Space Brothers track "One More Chance", appeared as a 12" and digital download release.
