Biography
The Skoidats, an American band from Helena, Montana, was active between 1995 and 1997. Its members included guitarist and vocalist Justin Dillavou, bassist Chuck Fuller, saxophonists John Chapman and Josh Grenz, and drummer Gardner Dunn. They released their first album, The Times, in 1997, which established their blend of ska, Oi!, jazz, and punk rock. In 1998, they issued the EP Boots and Suits, followed by the 2000 album A Cure for What Ales You. The group toured nationally, sharing stages with The Slackers, MU330, and The Skatalites.
