Biography
The Meligrove Band, a Canadian indie rock group from Mississauga, Ontario, was formed in 1997 by Jason Nunes, Darcy Rego, and Michael Small. Their first public performance took place in March 1998 at Club Shanghai in Toronto. The band released their debut album, Stars & Guitars, in April 2000. In the mid-2000s, they signed with V2 Records and released Planets Conspire. The album reached number 2 on the national campus radio chart in Canada. Their 2010 album, Shimmering Lights, topped CBC Radio 3's charts in late October. The band took a break from touring in 2015 and played their last performance at Lee's Palace in Toronto in November 2017.
