Biography

The Little Willies are a group of established artists who joined together in 2003 due to their love of classic country music songs. The line-up includes Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Norah Jones, folk artist Richard Julian, bassist Lee Alexander, guitarist Jim Campilongo and drummer Dan Rieser. They performed at New York venues and released their first album, 'The Little Willies' featuring songs by stars such as Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams and Townes Van Zandt, in 2006. It reached number ten on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and number 48 on the Billboard 200. A second release, 'For the Good Times' (2012), featuring songs by Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and others, went to number nine on the Top Country Albums chart and number 45 on the Billboard 200.
