Biography

The Carbonfools, a Hungarian pop band from Budapest, was formed in 2001 by Titusz Bicskei and Szabolcs Tóth. The group gained national attention with their debut at the Sziget Festival the same year. In 2004, they released their first full-length studio album Poisoned Goulash, which became a major hit and included previously performed tracks. Their third album, Carbonsoul (2010), featured the national success "Hideaway" and an opera part sung by András Fehér in the song "Sunset". In 2013, The Carbonfools signed a declaration criticizing the Hungarian government's decision to limit promotion of English-language bands on radio stations. The band released Carbonbliss in 2014, followed by frontman Balázs Fehér leaving the band in 2015. Gábor Fóris-Ferenczi replaced him in 2016 and they released Carbonflames in 2018.
