Biography

The Afterimage, a Canadian progressive metalcore band from Barrie, Ontario, formed in 2011 with members Kyle Anderson, Alex Lappano, Mike Ticar, Nick McCaslin, and Dallas Bricker. The group released their debut EP Formless in August 2012, which included the single "Void" and was well-received for its creativity and talent. Following this release, they embarked on tours across Canada with bands like Ascariasis and Stormwalker, and later signed with Royal Division Entertainment. In 2015, The Afterimage released their second EP Lumière, which featured the track "Reach" and was produced by Michael Leo Valeri. Their first full-length album, Eve, was released in May 2018. The band announced their separation on September 22, 2018, later revealing they had changed their name to Brand of Sacrifice.
