TETRAâFANG was a Japanese rock band formed in 2008, originating from Japan, and operated as a limited rock unit created to provide music for the 2008 Kamen Rider Kiva series. The groupâs rotating lineup featured actors such as Koji Seto as the lead vocalist for the single "Destiny's Play" and keyboardist Shuhei Naruse, who later continued working on the franchise. The bandâs debut single, "Destiny's Play", was released on 23 April 2008 and reached number 25 on the Oricon Weekly Single Chart, marking its initial chart success. On 25 June 2008 the single "Individual-System" was issued as the second ending theme for Kamen Rider Kiva, followed by a July 30 reâissue featuring Keisuke Kato. The first miniâalbum, Supernova, arrived on 6 August 2008, containing characterâtheme tracks for the seriesâ monsters. On 3 December 2008 the fullâlength album Destiny was released, compiling previously issued singles and new character songs written by established tokusatsu songwriters. The group disbanded later that year after the conclusion of Kamen Rider Kiva; both Shuhei Naruse and guitarist Ayano continued to contribute to the franchise through subsequent projects, including cover albums for Kamen Rider Decade. In 2009 a reunion album, Masked Rider Kiva Destiny's Play ReâUnion, was issued on 24 June, featuring new recordings and a few original tracks, closing the bandâs brief but focused career.
