Tender Trap, an English indie pop/twee pop band, was formed in London in 2001 by Amelia Fletcher, Rob Pursey, and John Downfall, all formerly of Marine Research. The trio released the single "Oh Katrina" in 2002, followed by "Face of 73" the same year. Their debut album Film Molecules was also released in 2002. This was followed by the 2006 EP Language Lessons. Subsequent albums include 6 Billion People (2006), Dansette Dansette (2010), and Ten Songs About Girls (2012). The band became inactive in 2014, with Fletcher and Pursey later performing as the Catenary Wires.
